Antibioresistance is a dramatic health issue and new medicines are urgently needed. A major challenge for efficient drug design is to find the appropriate bacterial target. In line with that, this project focuses on a new and innovative target. It aims at evaluating in vivo the molecular effectiveness of promising hits that we have previously identified, and to potentiate them into leads using computational and molecular structural biology.
