Résumé
High-throughput assays are an experimental paradigm that has revolutionized biology in recent decades. They are very powerful, but produce large numbers of false positives that impede the efficient analysis of experimental data. This talk will discuss the use of natural language processing to deal with the false positive problem, focusing on a type of high-throughput assay called a synthetic lethal screen.
