Résumé
BBDIFF aims to identify the microbial and metabolic determinants that drive natural Clostridioides difficile clearance during infancy and assess whether these mechanisms can inform primary prevention strategies in adults. The project combines a longitudinal mother–infant cohort with metagenomics, metabolomics, ecological and predictive modeling, and experimental validation of candidate commensal bacteria in adult gut models.
