Description/résumé
The internship focuses on modeling the dynamics of gut microbiota using the Generalized Lotka-Volterra (GLV) framework to understand microbial interactions and their role in pathogen defense. Due to challenges in parameter estimation from limited and noisy data, this work explores advanced inference techniques, including spline-based optimization and Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs), to estimate model parameters while ensuring consistency with experimental data.
