I did my PhD (2012-2015) under the co-supervision of Sophie Schbath of MaIAGE unit at the INRA of Jouy-en-Josas and Peter Arndt from the Max Planck Institue for Molecular Genetics in Berlin. Before that, I got my bachelor at AgroParisTech , Paris intitute of technology for life, food and environmental sciences, and my master degree in Probabilities and Statistics at the Paris Sud University .

In my PhD, I'm working on statistical properties of eucaryotic genomes. The goal of my work is to understand the biological mechanism that induce these properties, and to produce neutral model of evolution that would exhibit the same properties. I'm mainly interested in evolutionary genomics with a particular focus on gene duplication and mathematical modeling of any evolutionary process.

In January, I started a postdoc at the LBBE laboratory in Lyon, under the co-supervision of Franck Picard and Laurent Duret. In this project, we aim at understanding the evolutionary history of replication origins. We notably want to understand the role of certain sequence motifs, named G-quadruplex, in the firing of the replication process.
