The BioNLP Open Shared Tasks 2019 workshop co-organized by INRA-MaIAGE and DBCLS (Tokyo) brought together in Hong Kong on November 4 the organizers and participants of the 7 tasks and scientists in the field.

The tasks cover a wide variety of needs (fine information extraction, ontological standardization, information retrieval, linguistic annotation), language (English, Spanish) and object (plants, microorganisms, humans).
